The hotel rooms were smaller than expected but very comfortable with lovely cleanliness; however, service could have been better for a 5-star hotel. The location is great, offering beautiful views over the river and the city, though I wish it was open 24/7 for guests to enjoy. The dining experience was a gourmet's delight with tropical fruits, but not as diverse as expected. The swimming pool area and gym were excellent for relaxation. The price could be a concern for some aspects.
My stay at the hotel was great overall. The rooms were very spacious and equipped with everything we could need, although some hand towels and washcloths were missing at times. The bathrooms were lovely and modern, making my stay comfortable, though a little refurbishment wouldn't hurt.

The location is excellent, providing a beautiful view over the harbor of Dar es Salaam and within walking distance of major sites and the fast ferry to Zanzibar. The dining experience is amazing, offering a great variety of high-quality options that rotate weekly. However, the traditional attire may make you feel like vermin, and being ways from Masaki and expats could be a drawback.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were absolutely lovely and spacious, with large bathrooms, facing the Dar es Salaam harbor. The service was friendly and helpful, from the initial welcome to all hotel amenities. The location was great, offering a beautiful view over the harbor. However, the dining experience was a bit mixed. The hotel facilities were enjoyable overall.
